Picture Quality

The Acer B276HL monitor is based on a VA panel with a static contrast ratio of 3500:1 and a peak brightness of 300-nit, capable of displaying deep black shades and vibrant clarity in the shadows and picture highlights.

The B276HL has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a 5ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1, a brightness rating of 300 cd/m², and support for up to 16.7 Million colours all working together to provide a stunning picture.

The contrast ratio, similar to that of the Acer B276HLymdpr, is decent. It is not the best darkroom display monitor, but in a bright room, it should perform well.

This Acer monitor is easy to set up and configure with HDMI and DisplayPort inputs. Acer has also included dual 2W speakers integrated into the display for a full multimedia viewing experience.

This display for this monitor is bordered by an almost hidden bezel making this monitor suitable for multi-display setups, and the panel can be viewed from almost any angle with horizontal and vertical viewing angles at 178°. The viewing angle is the horizontal or vertical angle at which the user can view the screen image with no loss of colour fidelity or image clarity.

For gaming, Acer B276HL has a low input lag and a decent response time and is good enough for most gamers. However, if you’re a competitive gamer, you should be looking for a faster screen.

For office use, the B276HL is a decent monitor. It has great ergonomics and it’s easy to place it in the ideal viewing position. The peak brightness is decent and it has great reflection handling, so in bright offices, it looks good.

For multimedia, this monitor is a decent option for watching movies or TV shows on Netflix or YouTube, but the 1080p resolution will be limited to some users.

This monitor does not have support for AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC. So brightness flickering or micro-stuttering might be a problem with this monitor.

Some of the main features of the B276HL include HDMI & VGA ports for greater usability, a Kensington lock slot to protect your monitor from theft, and Energy Star & EPEAT Gold enforcement are also available on the B276HL Cymiprx LCD to help you save money and energy.

The B276HL supports Acer VisionCare Technologies which incorporates several technologies to reduce eye strain and provide a more comfortable viewing experience.

Another useful feature the B276HL has is its ErgoStand. The Acer ErgoStand lets the monitor pivot, tilt, swivel, and move up or down, so you can find the most comfortable viewing angle for work, leisure or gaming.

The Acer B276HL has an OSD (On-Screen Display) menu that is well-organized, no need to fiddle with the buttons. Easily modify your monitor settings via Acer Display Widget utility software.

The Acer B276HL Cymiprx‘s design is simple. It has thin bezels on three sides but the bottom bezel is thicker, as it houses the monitor’s controls. The stand has a square base that doesn’t take up too much space when placed on a desk.

The stand of the monitor supports the monitor well and it’s ergonomically fitted with -4°/12° tilt and VESA mount compatibility.

The back of the monitor has a clean and professional look. The stand has a quick release feature if you want to wall-mount it, and there’s a cutout in the stand that serves as cable management.

The Acer B276HL’s build quality is good. The plastic construction feels fairly solid and there are no obvious issues. The stand supports the monitor well and it doesn’t wobble much.

Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.2, one DVI-D Dual Link, one D-sub, one USB 3.0 (upstream), and dual 2W speakers.
