Performance
The Acer Predator series is suitable for gamers as it is compliant with G-Sync technology from Nvidia, 144Hz image refresh and the new hardware supports a minimum response time from Fast LC 0.9ms.
The Acer Predator XB253QGP monitor has a poor native contrast ratio, as with most IPS displays. This results in blacks looking gray, but often only visible in a dark room.
Acer Eye Protect feature is now included in the latest Acer Predator XB3 series to ensure your eyes do not get tired in the long run. This also comes with Flicker Less technology which reduces the vibration of the screen and Comfyview design prevents glare from the screen.
The Acer Predator XB253QGP has strong peak brightness, with no brightness shifts with different contents. In most spaces, it is bright enough that glare shouldn’t be a concern.
The XB253 is a feature platform for all gaming and graphics-intensive media applications that demand it. The Great option for every Gamer.
The monitor has 178/178º viewing angle. Good horizontal and vertical viewing angle. This leads to no noticeable degradation when directly in front, and the screen remains accessible for users interacting on either side of the screen.
Design & Connectivity
The Acer Predator XB253QGP has a compact overall design, with three-sided slim bezels, a sturdy stand with outstanding ergonomics and good build quality.
There is a relatively wide selection of ergonomic modification options available, making it easy to find a suitable configuration. Often, the screen rotates on either side to portrait orientation.
There is a cable management hole in the back of the stand, and a quick-release button for easy movement to remove the stand. The Acer XB253QGP‘s borders are fairly thin on three sides, making it a great choice for a multi-monitor setup.
