The Gionee P10m was launched in August 2019 and is a budget smartphone with a decent body build when compared to the price. The Gionee P10m runs on Android 8.1.0 Oreo (Go edition) and is powered by MediaTek MT6580A, Quad-core 1.3GHz.

Gionee P10m smartphone has an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that’s capacitive, and multitouch that offers an interactive experience. The Gionee P10 M sports a notched screen at the bottom of the panel with minimal bezels.
The P10m display is protected by a 2.5D curved glass screen.
The Gionee P10m appears modern and fits into the latest design trend for budget smartphones like the Ulefone Note 7, and Itel S15 Pro.
The Gionee P10m design is good and easy to carry in hand. The body is made of plastic, and it comes in Gold, Black, Blue, and Red.
The P10m comes with three cameras. At the front, you have a waterdrop notch camera with a sensor used for face unlock.
It has a dual-camera at the back with an LED flash and a speaker grill at the bottom below the Gionee brand logo.
On the right side of the P10m, you get the volume rocker and power button while on the left side, it’s completely plain.
At the base, you’ll find a mic, and a micro USB v2.0 port, for charging the device. The top of the device has the headphone jack.
Taking out the back cover of the P10m reveals the battery, dual sim card slot, and a Micro-SD slot. When trying to open the back cover of the P10m you should be careful not to break it.
The P10m features a 6.1 inch IPS LCD display. It measures 156.21 mm x 74.08 mm x 10.9 mm and weighs about 196 grams. The screen has a resolution of (600 x 1280 pixels) and 232 PPI pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 71.3%.

The Gionee P10m comes with three cameras, Dual Camera 8MP AF + 0.3MP FF at the back with LED flash, and one front camera 5MP for taking selfies.
Some of the camera features include PDAF, Geo-tagging, panorama, f/2.2 aperture.
Taking a photo with the back camera in a well-lit environment, it manages to deliver pictures with excellent details.
The back camera supports video recording at 720p@30fps while the front camera allows you to take selfie pictures, video recording and do video calling.
Selfies taken on the front camera look good, but not perfect.
Face Unlock: Face Unlock is part of the setup process when you get the Gionee P10m, much like the Fingerprint. Using your face, you can quickly unlock your phone. Gionee P10m will know when you light up your phone and unlock it and remember your face.

The Face Unlock on the P10m feature is fast and reliable in most lighting conditions while I used this device.

The Gionee P10m is a phone for those that can’t afford an expensive smartphone.
It has nothing to really differentiate from other budget phones on the market, it’s simpler than most of the budget smartphone to handle and has less great features to offer.
