Upon installing and activating this modem it was obvious something was not right.Pages loaded like back when I had dial-up.Speedtest.net indicated the my download speed was about 5% lower ( 27-28Mbps vs 29-30) -- (not something you would notice in everyday usage but still a deficiency). However the ping time, which for any cable connection should average 30ms or less, was up over 150!! The modem which I am renting regularly runs in the teens for ping time. I even replaced the ethernet cable, nope. This Netgear is just junk.Remember when images loaded top to bottom? This modem takes you back to those days.Back to Amazon it goes.
