The Lenovo G25-20 is a dedicated gaming monitor that provides exceptionally smooth and responsive performance. The G25-20 boasts a 165Hz refresh rate and an extremely fast response time, resulting in practically no motion blur in fast-moving scenes.
It has a low input lag and supports FreeSync and G-SYNC to lessen screen tearing. Despite having an IPS screen with excellent viewing angles, the monitor has a low contrast ratio, which makes deep blacks appear grey.
It is well-designed and allows you to adjust the screen to your preferred viewing position effortlessly. Visibility should not be an issue in most viewing conditions because it manages reflections effectively and becomes bright enough to combat glare.
It does not, however, become bright enough to provide a nice HDR experience. On the plus side, it offers excellent colour accuracy right out of the box and a wide SDR colour range with complete sRGB coverage.
