The LG LK500BPTA 32″ TV has a poor picture quality. The gray uniformity and viewing angle are above average, which is useful for individuals who like sport or who have a large living space. Finally, this TV is not HDR compatible and is only capable of reproducing color within the SDR standard. The average SDR peak brightness, when used in a brighter environment, is enough to tackle the light of the space.
For 480p input, Upscaling content like video to 480p is good. The picture is slightly smooth when upscaled but still not detailed.
For 720p input, 720p video content such as sports, movies are displayed well on this TV you won’t notice any when the video content is upscaled to match the 1366×768 Full HD resolution.
While a 1080p input can be accepted by the TV, it can not display it without downscaling it to 1366×768. If the video source or content you’re using can not produce 1366×768, the 1080p input is helpful for high-quality content to prevent downscaling to 720p.
