The world's first IPS gaming monitor with 1 ms response time is announced

 

LG announced the world’s first IPS displays with a response time of 1ms at E3 gaming conference with the LG UltraGear Nano IPS lineup. For fast response time, LG achieved this by using Nano IPS technology, as well as accurate color reproduction and a refresh rate of 144 Hz-plus. The monitor comes in two screen sizes – a 38-inch (model 38GL950G) and a 27-inch (model 27GL850). Both IPS panels have a refresh rate of 144 Hz (up to 175 Hz overclocked) and cover 98 percent (135 percent sRGB) of the DCI-P3 color range.

LG UltraGear 38GL950G Supports both NVIDIA G-SYNC processor, VESA DisplayHDR 400 and is NVIDIA certified to provide a great gaming experience through more than 300 performance and image quality tests. It has a 3840 x 1600 pixel resolution with an aspect ratio of 21:9. The LG UltraGear 38GL950 G has a curved display, which is almost borderless.

LG UltraGear 27GL850 is Compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and supports HDR10. It has a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and has a curveless design.

The LG UltraGear Nano IPS gaming monitors will be available on July 1 in the U.S. for pre-order with availability in Q3 in European markets. Pricing has not been revealed.
