Oeina XP7711 Design
Oeina is a 5.0-inch display Android smartphone. The body of this device is made from plastic and aluminum alloy. The aluminum acts as a shield on its two sides with six visible screws that hold the aluminum together, this aluminum acts as body protection.
At the back of the device, you’ll also find four visible screws that hold the cover of the battery together. The body build of this device is more like a rugged phone but this phone doesn’t fall under the IP68 certified phones category. So it’s not a rugged phone and on testing out this device we found out that this device is not water-resistant, dustproof and shockproof.
At the top of this device, you’ll have a headphone jack and a microUSB port. At the bottom of this device, you’ll find the mic. On the right side of this device you’ll find the on and off switch and on the left you find the volume rocker.
Taking out the back cover of this device reveals the battery with the Dual Sim card and TF card slot.
The Oeina XP7711 is bulky.

The XP7711 comes with an IPS, LCD capacitive touchscreen display. With a screen resolution of 960 x 540 Pixels at 24-bit colour depth. The touch screen on this device has support for multi-touch.
Multi–touch is a technology that enables a trackpad or touchscreen to recognize more than one or more than two points of contact with the surface.
Oeina XP7711 Performance
This device is powered by MediaTek MTK6580 with a CPU Frequency of Quad-Core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A7. The GPU on this device is the ARM Mali-T720 MP1.
Oeina has 1GB RAM, 8GB Internal memory and an expandable Micro Sd card slot
up to 32GB. With the 1GB RAM, there are a lot of limitations in terms of the number of apps and games you can install.
This device also has support for G-sensor, Proximity sensor and Accelerometer sensor.
Oeina XP7711 Camera
With a front and back camera of 2 Megapixels with an unknown aperture, image dimensions of 1600 x 120 Pixels and Video resolution of 480p@30fps. The picture and video quality with this device camera are poor.
The front camera does not have support for LED flash but the camera on the back of the device has support for LED flash. These device camera features include Autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, geotagging, HDR, ISO settings, panorama, scene mode, self-timer, touch focus.
Oeina XP7711 Software
The operating system on this device is Android 5.1 Lollipop with a customized user interface. We tried several apps and games on this device and they worked well. The heavy graphics games caused the system of the device to slow down and stutter.
Oeina XP7711 Battery Life
The Oeina XP7711 has a battery capacity of 3,200 mAh and the battery is removable. For normal use, the battery should last you throughout the day and for heavy use, you should have your charger with you to boost up the battery once it runs down.
The Oeina XP7711 doesn’t have support for wireless charging. Charging the device is through the microUSB port.
Should you buy a Refurbished Oeina XP7711?
This version of the device we reviewed was a refurbished version we bought from Jumia.com.ng. There was no warranty, it was not a certified refurbished device, we only had an option for 7 days return policy, if the device we bought had a defect.
So if you’re going to buy a refurbished device online. It’s not guaranteed whether you’ll receive other accessories that were originally bundled with the phone, such as headphones and it’s likely you won’t get a 12 months warranty.
