What is Health Emergency Lifeline Programs?

Health Emergency Lifeline Programs

When we think of emergency services, we usually think of paramedics and police officers. But other emergency services play an essential role in our communities. Health emergency lifeline programs are one of these services.

These services can support and assist in managing mental health symptoms and emotions. In addition to the direct services HELP offers, the program also offers referrals to community resources.

This can help connect clients to resources they may not be aware of or may not have access to. Referrals to community resources can provide clients with additional support and assistance in managing their mental health evaluation, mental health care, counselling, group therapy, and navigating the system.
